Hi,

My name is Esri and I’m 20 years old. This year, I’m the Commissioner of External Affairs.

In addition to my position with the Batavierenrace, I’m a third-year student of Educational Sciences for Primary Education at Radboud University. So, you’ll mostly find me in Nijmegen, although I’m originally from Brabant.

In my free time, I work in hospitality in Nijmegen and enjoy spending time with friends — anything from an intense game of padel to relaxing on a terrace for hours.

In my first year as a student, I participated in the Batavierenrace myself. I really enjoyed it, and after spending a year on a committee within my study association, it felt like the perfect time to focus on a larger event.

I’m already really looking forward to the 54th edition, so I’ll see you all on May 8 and 9! :)
