Hey!

I’m Lasse Kamphuis, 21 years old, and I’ve just started my Master’s in Mechanical Engineering in Enschede. This year, I’m the Commissioner of Facilities in Enschede.

After finishing my Bachelor’s, I decided to take things a bit slower and spread my courses over two years. With last year’s alternative Batavierenrace, it became clear that a full organization was needed again to secure a promising future for the event. That’s why I thought: this is something I want to contribute to!

This year, my responsibility is to manage all the facilities in Enschede — both on campus and at the restart location in Enschede.

Besides my studies and this board year, I also work part-time in automation technology and I’m an enthusiastic athlete.

I’m really looking forward to the coming year and to creating another amazing edition of the Batavierenrace!
