Hi everyone!

My name is Line Terpstra, I’m 21 years old, and I’m currently finishing my Bachelor’s in Geography, Spatial Planning and Environment. This year, I’m excited to take on the role of Commissioner of the Race – Nijmegen.

I ran and, of course, celebrated at the 52nd edition myself, which made me curious about the organization behind this amazing event. Since I couldn’t start a Master’s right away, I thought it would be fun — and educational — to do a board year with the Batavierenrace. I’m highly motivated, which comes in handy now that the race is returning in its original format this year. Together, we’re going to make the 54th edition truly spectacular!

Besides being busy with the Batavierenrace, I play volleyball four times a week with Vocasa Ladies 4 in Nijmegen. Within the team, I also help organize social activities outside of training and matches, like team outings. Additionally, I occasionally babysit in Nijmegen, which I really enjoy. And of course, I’m always up for a snack and a drink on a terrace!

I’m looking forward to seeing you all on May 8 and 9 — I can’t wait!
