Hi,

I’m Stijn Hegeman, 22 years old, and I’m currently finishing my Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Communication Science. I’m from Enschede, and in my free time, I enjoy running, playing football, and working out.

I wanted to contribute to the Batavierenrace this year because I believe it’s an event that deserves to continue. I’ve participated before and really enjoyed the experience. My position this year is Commissioner of the Race – Enschede, which means I’m responsible for everything related to the route — such as permits, relay points, toilets, roadblocks, and other race logistics.

Besides my studies and the Batavierenrace, I also work part-time as a forklift driver. I really enjoy this job, as you never know what unusual things you’ll end up lifting!

I’m very excited about this year and look forward to organizing a fantastic edition of the Batavierenrace together with the rest of the team.
