Hi!

My name is Wes Aerts, I’m 21 years old, and I’ve just completed my Bachelor’s in Educational Sciences for Primary Education. This year, I didn’t want to start my Master’s in Educational Sciences right away, so I decided to focus on organizing the 54th edition of the Batavierenrace.

In recent years, I’ve already been involved in several committees within my study association, but I thought it would be fun to organize a larger event. The Batavierenrace was the perfect opportunity for this! This year, my responsibilities include managing the finances and organizing the facilities for the start in Nijmegen.

Besides this board year, I’m also active in the study association Postelein and enjoy having drinks with friends in the city or on a terrace.

I’m really looking forward to working with all of you to make the 54th edition of the Batavierenrace an amazing one!
